Covenant Wedding Request - Lakeside Campus
OUR COMMITMENT
We don’t just plan weddings—we plan covenant marriages.
All weddings at theCHURCH follow a clear discipleship pathway and are supported by a dedicated event team to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
Pastors of theCHURCH only perform covenant marriages. A covenant marriage is a legally distinct form of marriage in which a couple voluntarily commits to a lifelong union by completing premarital counseling and signing a declaration that affirms the seriousness and permanence of the relationship. Unlike a standard marriage, it requires spouses to seek counseling during times of difficulty and limits divorce to specific, legally defined circumstances such as adultery, abuse, abandonment, substance abuse, or extended separation. This type of marriage is intended to strengthen commitment, encourage reconciliation, and emphasize the enduring nature of the marital bond.
WHO WE SERVE
- Weddings are available to Partners & Attenders of theCHURCH who are actively engaged in the life of theCHURCH.
- All couples must be willing to fully engage in our marriage preparation pathway.
- Because of this process, we do not offer weddings for those unable to participate in the required preparation pathway.
